the Month - Mike Iapalucci
Mike was nominated in our January
Meeting as our Participant of the Month. Mike is a business
professional with over twenty years experience in Technical Product
Development in High-Tech and Telecom areas. Mike has worked on
domestic and international market services for the wireless carriers of
the world including AT&T and British Telecom, and for enterprise
clients such as Lycos and Peugeot. Mike was a pioneer in the use of
advertising to augment business models for mobile services utilizing
partnerships with CMGI - Engage and EnPocket. Over the last year
Mike has built a unique Product Marketing business called Market Carver
Inc. Market Carver's business proposition is designed to provide
companies with a Market Agent that will consult, and help them
accomplish the following: Product Strategy/Management, Business Analysis,
Technology Architecture. Mike through Market Carver is seeking contract or
full time engagement with companies developing or deploying products,
applications, or services in or utilizing high technology elements, with
specialties in mobile and wireless mediums.
Vision for the DFW Chapter: Provide a forum where product
development professionals across business and markets boundaries can
share, learn, and grow.

Member of the Month - Becky Rotan
Becky is in her second year as Product
Development Manager at LandSafe, Inc. LandSafe Inc. is the closing
services subsidiary of Countrywide Financial Corporation (NYSE: CFC).
Becky has had the opportunity to build LandSafe Product Development from
the ground up. Becky is responsible for taking products through discovery,
development and delivery. Her most recent product launches include
wireless credit, wireless automated property valuations, and wireless
flood certification. Prior to LandSafe, Becky spent six years at Nortel
Networks in various roles, working with wireless networks. Becky also has
a strong background in market research and competitive analysis. Becky
received a Bachelor of Arts at Texas Tech University, a Master of Library
Science at Texas Woman's University and a Master of Business
Administration in Marketing at the University of North Texas. Hobbies and
interests include glass working, golf and wire working. Vision for the
